EMX collects only what it needs to deliver products, issue keys, and provide support. We don't sell your personal information.

In short

  • We collect your email and order details for support and keys.
  • Payments are handled by a third-party processor.
  • Activation uses a machine identifier, not your identity.
  • We never sell your data.

1. What we collect

  • Order & contact info — the email and details you provide at checkout or when contacting support.
  • Activation data — a machine/hardware identifier used to bind and validate your license key.
  • Support messages — what you send us so we can help.
  • Store analytics — daily aggregate counts of store visits, product views, and checkout opens. A random session identifier in session storage prevents duplicate counts. The server stores daily hashes for deduplication, not order details, license keys, or raw session IDs. Tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Aggregate counts and daily deduplication hashes remain stored until removed by EMX.
  • Basic site data — standard technical logs (e.g., request and error logs) from our hosting providers.

2. How we use it

  • Deliver products, issue and validate license keys.
  • Provide support and troubleshoot activation or downloads.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, key sharing, and chargeback abuse.
  • Operate and improve the website and products.

3. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with service providers that make EMX work — for example a payment processor to handle checkout, and hosting/CDN providers to serve the site and downloads. These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information, and we only disclose data when required by law.

4. Retention & your choices

We keep order and license records as long as needed to support your purchase, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (subject to records we must keep for valid licenses and fraud prevention) by emailing us.
